It looks like Coach Bill Bedenbaugh will be leaving the program for Oklahoma.
After making great strides with the O-line the past two years, Coach B will be moving on to bigger and better pastures in Norman. Truly being successful wherever he’s been, he’s coached an All-Conference player every year but two since 1996 – at six different schools.
A great recruiter as well as coach, his skills were ones that were going to make it hard to hold on to him for long. Recently named a top 50 recruited by 247 sports, Bedenbaugh brought in two of our bigger recruits this season in Darrien Howard and Marcell Lazard.
I will say I’d rather he went to another conference, but I’m wishing good luck to Coach B in the future.
See you in September.
